Bree & Sean’s Sun drenched San Diego couples session

working with Bree and Sean made my face hurt, in the best possible way. It was one of those shoots where I left the session just completely in love with this amazing job I have. We laughed so much at this session my face and sides hurt. In our last shot of the day, I said go run and jump and stick the classic 80s end of the movie pose. That got us all singing that song all the way back to our cars, you know the one.

Anyway, for this shoot I really wanted the feel of the Oregon Coast, that chilly, hazy, let me warm you up feel. However, I am in San Diego, not Oregon but we did our best haha. I found these tiny little San Dunes on dog beach in Ocean Beach and that set our location. Sean and Bree even brought their sweet pup Byron to play with us. We had such a fun night complete with sweet songs from Bree and Sean on their hand-painted ukulele, all the snuggles, and even some planking.

Then that glorious San Diego sunset made an appearance turning the sky all kinds of pinks and oranges, making any photographer a happy camper. Oh, I should also mention Bryon’s amazing shark fin was made by a local San Diego company called Labrashark.

Sean and I met at the hole in the wall, a bar I was managing. It was an instant attraction, we couldn’t stay away from each other. I always tease him, “out of all the bars in San Diego you had to walk into mine.” Sean and I had never dated anyone that was equally wild, sappy and passionate, and we’ve fit like a glove since day one. We laugh constantly, have so much fun together, and are just so deeply in love it’s crazy. It’s the kind of love I always wanted but never thought I would find.
