So, Emily and Chris, hmm. Where to start? Well, I guess I’ll start at the beginning. They met four years ago and from the very start there was an immediate connection- which is still clearly as fresh now as it was then. Chris proposed in a truly romantic and beautiful fashion in Italy on a hill with a view. Their wedding was planned for September 2020 (but we know how this story goes…) After a couple reschedules, Chris and Emily have decided to have a small wedding in a years time in Lake Arrowhead. This is still the plan, however, last weekend they decided to up and do it! They were officially wed in Balboa Park on September 12th in true Corona style with just their officiant and witnesses. Congrats to the newlyweds and bring on the wedding celebrations!

These two are so special. Their deep love and happiness is contagious (maybe the wrong time to use this word- but this is a virus you do want to catch!). They are compassionate, understanding, intentional and just plain remarkable! It was an absolute ball working with them to co-create this session.

Emily and Chris had a fairly good vision of what they wanted from this engagement shoot. And together we created this magical day! The goal was to capture their relationship in its most organic and natural form- through food, laughter, their home and garden and a bike ride around their neighborhood. Through those we showed how they spend much of their everyday. But then we took it one step further and did part of the session in La Jolla- where they met all those years ago, and where they still spend special days together.
