Gabby and Marco’s Stunning Point Loma Wedding

Gabby and Marco were quick to fall in love. They met in 2018, were engaged 6 months later, and married another 6 months after that. Much like their immediate, natural attraction to each other, I fell for them as well. They made taking pictures effortless. Their love for each other was prominent and present. Their personalities shone through each shot- Gabby with her sweet and caring demeanor and Marco with his passion for making everyone laugh. Unknowingly to most, Marco had a secret plan to surprise his new wife on this very special wedding day. Some of Gabby’s Brazilian family and friends weren’t able to make it all the way to California- so Marco brought them to the wedding himself, virtually (checkout the pictures of Gabby’s reaction!). This was the highlight of my night- the love from her family and friends was so strong and the gesture from her husband was so incredibly sweet. 

With all the magnificent moments at this wedding, there was one that stood out to me personally- the venue. Not only is the Thursday Club absolutely beautiful (inside and out), but it was were I married my husband nearly seven years ago. The white walls, the wood floors, the greenery- and oh, the view! It flaunts some of the best of San Diego’s coast line, which we ventured down to to take some newlywed photos in front of Sunset Cliffs. This wedding was simply a dream, from start to finish. The couple was an absolute joy to work with, the venue, the details, the weather, and that meaningful surprise video.
