Attitude is everything. EVERYTHING! And let me tell you, Izzy, that girl, she had THE BEST attitude. From the moment I met her, at her engagement session, and then again at her elopement, she was just a happy ball of energy! Her entire family was stuck in the sand and with the crazy winds that we had that weekend and she wasn’t phased in the slightest. She merely took the day in strides and did so gracefully.

Izzy and Dylan were the first couple to use our all inclusive elopement package (more details on this to come in the next blog- so stay tuned!). Myself, along with all the other vendors, planned the day perfectly. Everything that we could plan, we did. But, the weather was not something we could plan… We awoke that morning to 40 mile per hour winds. All day long we struggled with where to move the ceremony. Due to Covid we obviously couldn’t move it inside, so we moved the whole site up under the porch. But then the winds went down to 30 miles so we went for it and moved it all back to the original spot. Quite the eventful set up!

“Being able to celebrate our wedding more intimately with just our family and close friends instead of a huge party ended up being a blessing in disguise because we really got to enjoy each other and focus on the real reason we were there, to promise to love each other forever. There was no stressing about pleasing everyone, although there were a few added stressors like my mother getting herself and everyone else attending stuck in the desert sand, but we feel so lucky that our day became what it did and we wouldn’t change it for anything. We feel so lucky to have had such a unique and amazing day!!” -Izzy’s take on her special day
