Let me introduce you to Jennifer and Ty. They were the lucky winners of an engagement session giveaway that I did a little while back. I don’t know who was more stoked to work with who- me with them or them with me!
They have been together for over three years now and plan to get married in February (Covid, please please let them!!) They feel their relationship so deeply and in such special way. She is his queen and he is her king and they refer to their relationship and story as a fairy tale- I mean, c’mon!! How cute?! Ty proposed to Jennifer during a helicopter ride on a mountain top overlooking the ocean (so wish I could have photographed that!). As they began planning their wedding they came across my work and from there all the pieces fell into place.
Together we decided to create their fairy tale magic in Joshua Tree. We all know the desert is my place- and lucky for me it is their place too. Ty grew up dirt bike riding and calls the desert his piece of paradise and Jennifer grew up in the desert, her home. Once we decided on Joshua Tree the rest just happened. We flowed from one shot to the next, from one location to the next, and one mood to the next. I love how we glided from a light and airy feeling to a sultry one! The session was effortless, enjoyable and so incredibly special.
